Magic date with the magic band PAIN OF SALVATION
On Thursday 20 October arrives in Prague at Retro Music Hall to tour the new album Road Salt Two legendary Swedish progressive rock band PAIN OF SALVATION.
PAIN OF SALVATION have originated in the head and multi-instrumentalist singer Daniel Gildenlöw. It happened in 1984 when he was only eleven years old! For a while everything still crystallized under the name Reality, that from the beginning of the nineties has changed the name to Pain Of Salvation and then began recording demos. All Entropia album peaked first (1997), which actually sparked a series of thematically integrated opera, which is touching in the future war and its impact on family and humanity, environmental issues versus nuclear power plants, etc.
To this day went Pain of Salvation eight regular albums, two live boards, two DVDs and two singles. The concept of Road Salt Two comes 26th September and is a continuation of last year's collection of Road Salt One. The band revels in all the conceptual issues. For panels BE (2004) was the nature and essence of God and his relation to humanity and its development. Scarsick Album (2007) reflects the dissenting position by the action of the Bush administration and critique of American society in general. The group even after some time refused to perform in the U.S..
Frontman Daniel in the meantime worked with The Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Ayreon and also with the kings of progressive rock, Dream Theater. Here is a link to the ticket. The site will become a ticket 750Kč.
